Above is an abandoned ice fishing hole, and below is a shot my wife took of me.
We only had a four hour break from taking care of my mother-in-law, so we returned home following the road you see below.
Before getting back to the highway, we stopped to take a few more shots. This shot looks northwest toward the reservoir.
The shot above looks northwest along the highway. The one below I took back in April. It is taken farther south and looks directly north before the highway curves northwest toward the entrance of the canyon.
On the way home, we stopped in the Wind River Canyon (above) to take a picture of the frozen waterfall below.

it was nice to see you in one of the shots. the snowy ice on the plants is really pretty. you must have picked a really good camera. looking at these makes me realize that i'm in a very different place and a little cold weather would be so nice right now...
