Lower Nowood Road

This past spring and summer we took several trips to admire the beauty of Upper Nowood Road. Now that it is late in the fall, it isn't as pretty, but Lower Nowood Road has some scenery that needs to be admired. Here is a map of how these roads lead into Ten Sleep.

Both of the roads mentioned above follow Nowood Creek. Most rivers and creeks here run north, so that is why Lower Nowood Road is north of Upper Nowood Road (WY-434).

As you can see by these shots, we did not get to Lower Nowood Road until late in the afternoon. So we used the opportunity to watch the sunset. We pulled off the road, took out our camping chairs, and made ourselves comfortable. Below is my wife and her mother.
