northwest entrance

After visiting Yellowstone National Park and the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, you pass through Meeteetse before arriving in Thermopolis, the Hot Springs county seat. Here is what you will see as you approach on Highway 120 which turns into Broadway Street. This is the northwest entrance to Thermopolis.

As you can see from the above photograph, Broadway Street is seven lanes wide. It is not a busy thoroughfare, and the speed limit of 30 miles per hour is strictly enforced.
