About halfway between Thermopolis and Meeteetse is Gooseberry Road. Look for it on the right, immediately before the rest stop.

Hgwy WY-120 between Thermop and Meeteetse
The shots above and below are taken from the same location. Below is the town of Meeteetse in the distance.
Leaving Meeteetse, we returned home to Thermopolis. Here are a few shots I took on the way.
The photographs above and below are taken from the same spot. The one above is looking north, and the one below is looking south.
For additional photographs of what you will find along WY-120, see the first half of Little Buffalo Basin Road and Eagle Draw Aeromodelers.

Meeteetse, WY, part 3
In downtown Meeteetse, we turned off of WY-120 and onto WY-290 which eventually becomes Pitchfork Road. We followed that until we came to a side road which Google maps calls "Road 4Eu." That's where we started taking these photographs.
Cars are used (below) to ensure that the Greybull River does not erode the embankment.

Boysen Reservoir, part 4
Just south of Boysen Dam is a small beach next to the reservoir. It's nothing impressive, but it's unusual given the semi-desert terrain which surrounds it.
I took this final shot next to the parking lot. You can see the guardrail for US-20 at the top of the picture.
The shot below looks north along US-20. To the left of the picture is the beach down below.
There's an outhouse and changing rooms for bathers--we didn't use the latter.
