Upper East River Road hikes, part 3

Instead of climbing the big hills, you might prefer to explore the valleys.


Sometimes the small hills look inviting, especially when you can build some type of a stone marker out of all the loose slate (below).






Eventually the dry stream beds lead you back down to the road and the fields which border the river.
