Old Ten Sleep Highway

Just east of Worland, on the south side of US-16 is a portion of the old road that used to connect Worland with Ten Sleep before US-16 was built. That's why it's called Old Ten Sleep Highway.

We arrived in the latter part of the afternoon to catch the intense light of the setting sun. Here are some scenes that caught my eye.







Much of the soil looks like the photograph above. When it rains, it becomes like mush. If you enlarge the photograph below by clicking on it, you can see the texture of the ground.
